Yeah.

We fell for one of those timeshare things that said we'd won a free holiday and had to go down to Exeter on a certain day to receive the tickets and sit through a short presentation on their timeshare scheme.

We were really skint at the time and the idea of a free holiday was so appealing. The guy assured us it wasn't a scam, we'd definitely get the tickets and just had to attend the presentation, no pressure at all to actually buy anything.

We went, and it was basically every couple there had to sit down face to face with a salesman and get the hard sell about this friggin timeshare. When we told them we weren't in a financial position to take out a timeshare at the moment they were REALLY rude to us and started saying how we'd "wasted" their time!!! Not to mention that we'd just driven down to Exeter from Cardiff!!!

I just demanded my free holiday tickets (which turned out to be a rip off too) and left.

Never again. Any cold calling scammers now just get the phone put down on them.

Yes, I've been scammed before and she took all the money I had saved up - I was homeless and broke at the time so I had to struggle, scrimp and save but I slammed a hot iron into the b>i>t>c>h's face! She won't be f>u>c>k>i>n>g with me ever again (unfortunately the b>i>t>c>h lived)

Yes. A couple weeks ago I got a notice from Pay Pal saying that my account was accessed from another computer and I would have to change my password. Being the untrustworthy type with all things on line, I forwarded the email to Pay Pal's reporting center and sure enough, it was a phishing scheme. I wish I could hunt jerks like that down and 'access their accounts. I'd clean 'em out!

We get scammed everyday by the U.S. government and its incompetent, contemptible, cowardly, arrogant, corrupt leadership. Abolish the Bush administration and all 535 members of Congress, and let's stop the scamming! -RKO-
