To comment on all of your questions and comments. I don't know why they took out my comment but Roger is my first cousin. He is alive and well and living in NYC. I don't believe he keeps in contact with any of the other warrior cast. He really does not talk much about his acting career. He is aware that his role in The Warriors has become a sort of classic. As far as his reason for leaving the business, he was asked to perform a simulated sex act on a male caucasion in a movie role he was offered and he refused to go there because of the negative light it would have shed on all black men. I think it was a reflection of the state of the movie industry at that time. I think he got fed up with it. Today I am wearing a very nice very expensive leather and suede jacket that was a wardrobe item he gave me shortly after his role as Alex Lowndes ended on the Soap Opera One Life To Live.
