is it ok to like a teacher? ya I always hear "it's ok to like a teacher!" But in my case he's 55 and I'm only 14! is this ok? cause I'm always fanasizing about him! He always talks to me in the halls,in class, near my locker, during recess and during lunch. He's very comical and has a great sense of humor! the otherday he rubbed my back as he was talking to me. Is this normal?

No touching. It's ok to like a teacher and a lot of young girls get crushes on their teachers. That's normal. BUT...getting too familar and touching is out! Some younger girls are more vulnerable to suggestions that are out of line and the touching could lead to other things. Sorry, but you need to distance yourself from him , both emotionally and physically.

it is totally normal to have a crush on a teacher but for him to reciprocate in any way is inappropriate and an abuse of his authority. He is crossing the boundary by rubbing your back. That kind of contact between teacher and student is entirely inappropriate.

Be very careful ! Don't confuse friendship for love ! His rubbing your back was definitely crossing the line and you should be on your guard ! Something definately seams out of whack here.

No, this is not normal. Be very careful. Liking a teacher is one thing, getting into a relationship with a teacher is altogether different.

Yes we have all gone through that. But the back rubbing is a bit weird. He should not be doing stuff like that.

As a friend or mentor, it is fine.. there are many teachers you will be able to get along with, but seriously do not let it get any further than friendship.
