I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a good baby bathtub? I was going to get the spa tub from babies r us but I started to read the comments and out of 20 of them there were only 3 good comments. My house doesn't have bathtubs we only have 2 showers so I need one that the baby can sit into. But I really didn't want to buy her one that is hard as a rock either. Any suggestions please help!!!

I am so sorry I don't know the name of it! But I got it from WalMart and it is blue, had a sling in it for younger infants with a duck shaped head for head support. The baby can't roll over and the surface is a mesh. After your baby is a little older or bigger you can removed the mesh sling and there is a spongey rubbery covering on the bottom that baby can lay on while you wash him/her. There is also a small temperature gage at the bottom that tells you if water is too hot for baby. Again I am sorry I don't know the name but it is the only one with a duck head support at WalMart and Super Walmart

We bought the one from K-mart that has the sling with a duck pillow, and comes with a cup with a spout for rinsing them off, but I don't know the brand name.

Honestly, that's one of the things that I wouldn't have purchased if I had it to do over. We only used it a handful of times.

Just take a big towel and line the kitchen sink with it. Fill it up less than halfway, and keep one hand behind the baby at all times to support their head and weight.

Works great. He's 8 months now, and since he was 3 months, we just used the big bathtub.

If you own the house you live in (not rent), and you are planning on being there long-term, I would suggest turning one of the showers into a bathtub.

A baby tub or the sink will work great now, but can you picture trying to bathe a one or two year old in the sink? And they're too little to tell to go take a shower! Do you really want to get in with them every time?

Put a hand towel or small towel in the bottom of your sink and let it drape over the sides & wash your baby there. You don't need a special tub. When the baby gets too big for the sink, get a plastic dishpan or rubbermaid like container to sit on the floor of your shower & use it just like a small tub. The baby will love it.'

I am not really sure what will work best for you. I know the sink works very good for a lot of people..My son is still to small but once his ready I too will be using the sink..Now, on the people who told you to take a shower with the baby, please dont do this..I heard of a friend of a friend who did this and her baby slit out of her hands and fell head first on the tub..Thank god, she was fine..She black out and had to be rush to the emergency but all the test came back negative for anything severe. Baby just had a lot of brusing on her face(she was 7mths old)..You just never know when something might happen so why take the chance right..

Go to Walmart.....they carry one that is blue with a ducky sling in it. The sling holds the baby until he gets a little older which makes it very easy to wash him. When he gets too big for the sling you just remove it & you have a regular tub with some padding on the bottom. My daughter had one of these for my grandson & loved it!

Get a simple one that holds water. There's no need for fancy gizmos or special padding; the water itself is fun, and as she's part floating it doesn't matter if the thing is hard. You'll be holding her so there's no deal about special shapes or whatever. Not too big, mind; you may have to carry the thing when it's full of water.

I think the Tummy Tub is the coolest thing ever!

I don't know if this would work for you... They are expensive, but you can use them a lot longer than most baby bath tubs.

Take her into the tub or shower with you.

Really buying those makes no sense....you don't use it very long. I would get a bath sponge and use the kitchen sink....
