unacceptable, too far away.

Everything sucks there! people are mean, the gyms stink, there are no jobs, there are no runner ladies there.

No where really. I lived in Fairfield for 2 years before moving to Napa to be closer to work. It is a military town. Blue Frog is OK. food is not that great and is very dark. There is a cool new pub in Vacaville about 10 miles away called BJ's. Great beer and tons of TVs to watch sports on. Merchant & Main in downtown Vacaville is also good. When I lived there I usually went to Napa or down to the East Bay in walnut creek. Benicia waterfront is also growing. The night life in Fairfield outside of the comedy club is virtually non-existent.

I can't totally answer, since I stay in Napa. (The Jamieson Canyon road has been dangerous.) But my husband says to try a restaurant called the Blue Frog. It's across from the mall. They have a good restaurant and bar.

If nothing else, ask some of the patrons where their favorite clubs are as a conversation starter. You could probably also ask the bartender where the dance clubs are in town as you're new to the area.

Oh, and stay away from Vallejo if you possibly can. Enjoy the area!
