Short answer: No
Don't use it oftenly, it does reduce swelling, but it also decreases your immune response to infections so I wouldn't recommend it to fight an infection
It's for your best to go see a doctor, as it has to be seen and diagnosed on-the-spot, not through internet

I'm not sure but I wouldn't risk it. try vaseline or carmex instead.
