There were a couple, like Arabian Knight, but they died. Dust from Hellions/X-men is the only one currently around...

Most of the comic charaacters of Middle-Eastern descent were either Jewish (Marvel's Sabra) or villains. DC has Ra's al Ghul, who opposes Batman; he is a variety of animist with some social aspects that seems similar to the more radical forms of Islam. DC's Suicide Squad went after some guy... was his name Kobra...? In that storyline there was also Djinn, who started out as human but was digitized and contained in a little portable container (cute, no?) and Bronze Tiger (a Sikh, I think) and probably some others I don't know.

There are plans from DC to introduce muslim heroes in the DCU as participants instead of just only supporting characters.

None that I am aware of, but what a great idea!!! One of us should create one. I mean after all Top Ten had a guy who practiced voodoo. the Thing is Jewish, Clark Kent is Methodist, and Nightcrawler is Catholic. And there are Bhuddist heros ( Question) Why not an Islamic hero too?

Not to my knowledge, why would u ask that? Anyway, there is this Black Super hero in the Marvel comics called the Black Panther his story sometimes clashes in with X-men and at one point in time he was married to Storm.

i think there is a team of heros from the middle east, i know they appeared in the justice league . im not sure of the name though.
