My friend did, she's now fluent en espanol...However, if you are black be aware that most black women in Spain are Africans who make a living hooking apparently so EVERY black woman seen walking at night MAY be deemed a whore by the people AND the police...My friend was harassed by the police almost daily when she went out after sun set.
