Since Ive began working at my job (Im the only other employee than the owner) I have constantly found ways to make the owner more money. i.e. selling online and whatnot. I get paid salary and Ive gotten a few raises since I began working here 3 years ago. We have cut back on our working hours by over 9 hours a week. Now I work less and am making more.
But I feel like a slacker. This job is not that hard to begin with. Why do I feel like a slacker now? I dont make a lot of money but I definitley make enough to pay the bills. And now I feel like I need a second job to fill my time because I have the time to make more money. Is this stupid? Whats wrong with me.
I think I care about this job more than the owner.

maybe you need a new challenge in your life since this job proves to be too easy for you!also, you might not like the job anymore since the hours are cut down so you make excuses to slack off! maybe deep inside all that money is not making you happy or maybe you are going through a state of confusion! i know that even the easiest jobs that can make you have good money cannot make you happy in the long run!my motto is to do what i love and to do what i love! find what you love and if this job is making you make excuses then it might not be right for you! you feel as though this job is becoming more and more boring so you want to find a second job eventhough you can pay the bills, well that will not solve the problem!sit down and realize if it is something temporary that you are going through or if you should find a more challenging job that makes you happy. best of luck!

Create a company and directly compete against him! And yes, a second job may help you find something to help pay the bills, but it may launch you in a new career direction!
