While they all may work to a degree, most of these over the counter whiteners are very bad for your teeth in the long run. Don't use them.
Teeth whitening is a growing concern in many households around the world. As appearances, especially of the face and mouth, become more vital in business and public affairs, many people attempt to gain whiter teeth through a variety of different methods. Before you start the teeth whitening process, however, there are a few things that you should know.

First and foremost, accelerating teeth whitening can cause problems in your future, should you prove to be unlucky. Professional office treatments and homemade or out of office treatments carry the risk of mouth cancer due to agitation to the gums, lips and tongue. Your teeth are also at risk as well, due to how the process works. Fortunately, as treatments progress, this concern is limited, although total removal of the risks has not yet been developed. There is currently only one method that does not cause a risk of cancer, and that is simply brushing daily with a standard toothpaste.

I love the Listerine pre-rinse whitening mouth wash.... you see results fast and you dont have to stick something on your teeth for 30 min twice a day... I have used crestwhite strips and I have stopped bc I found this product that love it more and it works just as well.. You use it twice a day before you brush your teeth and then when you are statsfied with your results you cut back to a couple times a week!!!! Give it a try! And it doesnt cost $50 like the whitestrips!!

Brush your teeth 2-3 times/day and add a little baking soda to your toothpaste. You will see results within a week.
Don't use the Crest, Rembrandt, etc. commercial stuff on the market - it's only a reason for you to part with your hard-earned $ unnecessarily.

What I find to work really well to keep my teeth white is swishing my mouth with hydrogen peroxide every time I brush. Hydrogen peroxide is the main ingredient in all whitnening products and its very cheep and effective.

Personally, none of them have worked well for me, and I am so sensitive to them. I've read the same from alot of other people. Be careful. Gums can become irritated for days and teeth will become sensitive to cold and brushing.

My husband likes Crest Whitestrips.

When we met, one of the first things I noticed was his white teeth. Obviously they work well!
