I have been using nero, i was able to get it to a file (around the copy right) but the file is too big to burn. is there anyway to shrink it down, or to isolate the movies from the special features so it will fit.

why dont you get double layer discs

1) You can use DVD Shrink http://www.download-dvdshrink.com/index.asp?PID=2893dc4d-ecab-42af-9e74-e4e07af3e3b2 , which I like to use. However, there are many to choose from, all depending on your preferences and what you needs are.
Or
2)If you have a dual layer DVD RW burner, you can use the dual layer DVDs which hold twice as much.

Use DVDshrink you can compress dvds or take out just what you want like the main feature.
