When one or the other starts listening/talking to someone else. Not the jealous side of it; when two have differences, Those two should hash them out or at least as much as possible, before listening/talking to others. Others, more times than not have a hand destroying love/friendship, accidently and intentionaly

Example: Jimmy liked Sally because she was funny and didn't care that Jimmy hung out with his friends after work.
One day Sally wasn't so funny anymore and decided Jimmy didn't need to hang out with his friends after work.
Sally's actions destroyed the love/friendship they once had.
