Meeting new people feels like TORTURE, yet I am always complaining about how I need more friends (?). Is anyone else like this?

well maybe its because u are scared of being open with sumone.
try small talk with sumone and see if they are trustworthy (like not gossiping) and then work your way up to being more open

Sounds like me . I want to meet new people, but its always a drag and I feel drained after talking for a few minutes. Last weekend I went to a party and meet this cute girl, but I was so drained after talking to her that I had to go to the bathroom just to take a break. I simply feel drained after being too social. I hate it.

Nope. I like meeting people, and l may need less friends at the moment. lf you want the quick way to friendship, have a small party and invite them...or if they're guys just take of your shirt and BAM, friends fall out of the sky.

I know how you feel. Meeting someone new and starting the whole process of getting to know each other is a pain. You have to find out what they like, what they don't like, what makes them mad. Its so much work.
