I love my yahoo home page news, but it won't let me load certain pages.
This is what it says:

It is like I have child controls on my yahoo, but I don't. There are only certain sites that this happens on. Live Science is one of them. I can click on the main home page for the above and it will take me to the home page, but it won't allow me to go to individual pages or articles. What gives.

Please look near the top of your monitor for "Tools", and open "Internet Options", and check your security settings. It should be set at, "Medium-High". Then check your "Privacy", it should be set at "Medium".
After you set to the above, drop down and click on "apply" an ok to close the box.
If the above are not set as shown your world wide zones will either block you from getting into their webpages or if they are set to low you will have access to webpages that are like porno sites.

i detect this happens to me particularly frequently on a residing house windows gadget in IE7 and frequently Firefox too. the perfect way round this project is to obtain and set up the yahoo toolbar and flow for your mail from the toolbar.

you should muck about with your security settings so it allows or prompts Active-X stuff. and disable any pop-blocker/firewall applications.
