I find it really amazing how many of you women out there marry men you can't stand and then try to blame the marriage on the guy! I think to avoid your next marital failure you should look into yourself and evauate why YOU did choose such an irritant personality to live your life out with!
Typically I find many women who say the same thing you have said. It's always his fault, or at least someone elses fault but not you. Have you ever thought YOU might be the "common" denomenator?????
My advice is to get some counseling.

It's not easy and yes, the best thing would be just to call it quits on the relationship and both of you move on. But I know from personal experience that it's not always that cut and dry. There could be kids involved, financial issues, whatever. Here's how I handled it...When he refused to leave the relationship, I just found myself in love with someone else. As my love for the someone else grew, my hubby got tired of getting the "cold shoulder" when it came to romance and got tired of receiving little or no affection. Finally, he got tired of it and moved on.
I'm not saying this is right or the best way to do it...but it's how I did it.

why would you? love yourself first and then you will learn to love another, being there and you can't stand him is not good for his children seek counseling or leave
you can't take care of his kids if you aren't taking care of yourself first and being in a loveless relationship with someone you can't stand is damaging to you just as much as him and the kids

If you can't stand him leave him... As long as you with him you will be miserable because you can't stand him. Life is too short to be unhappy. you are not obligated to be him.

Why would you want to? Why would you allow it? No matter what the reasons, you put yourself and your children if any first. Grow up and move on.
