after looking at the other answers i would ask do you have an epson printer if you do and the ink is full they have a tendancy to clog the print head which is part of the printer and not part of the ink cartridge so replacing the cartridge doesnt fix it, sometimes using a flushing liquid will fix it but if it has completely blocked it it will be hard to unblock, have you tried using the clean nozzle function which can be found in the properties section of the printer software. Note this only applies to epson printers not others where the cartridge contains a new print head such as hp etc..

Assuming your ink is not empty and your problem still exists. Your monitor displays colors as RBG or red, blue, green and your printer uses CMYK or cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. Try switching the color mode of the image file from RGB to CMYK before you sent it to the printer. Otherwise your letting your printer do the conversion from RGB to CMYK and it doesn't always work right. I prefer my PC do the comversion. I have run into this problem and this usually fixes it. I do all my photo work in Photoshop though and don't know if the program your printing your pictures from can support this.

Is your printer out of the other colors of ink? Run a print test page first to check this. If this isn't the case, there are photo correction programs out there. I think it is a printer problem.

REPLACE THE INK CARTRIDGES!!
You need ALL COLORS to make a color. If its tri-color - replace it - if its 4 seperate colors - replace the bad ones.
Run your printers diagnostic or just print 6 letters with 1 color each and see which one(s) don't print!

Check Ink in your printer. Some of the inks might have finished or dried up.

CORRECT answer...replace the color cartridge in your printer. You are low or out of one or more colors to properly render the pictures. Nothing else is wrong.
Hope this helps.

Ink cartrige(s) probably have a problem. Sounds like your red ink works ok but your blue and yellow arn't working so well.

I had that same trouble and even though it showed I had plenty of ink in my cartridges they were out. I put in new ones and it works fine now.
