Aside from it being socially unnaccepteable in most modern western societies, there's nothing harmful about it. But there is always the slight risk that you might get prgnant, no matter how much contraceptive you use. If you accidentally become pregnant, there is a high risk of having a baby that is going to have Down Syndrome, and many other possible birth defects. Aside from that, your only worry will be ridicule from those that find out. And the only reason that started happening was because society found out about the birth defects due to such impure DNA, causing the people of the society to give those who do this a very hard time. If you don't care about being made fun of, and you can't get pregnant, then I guess you have no problems, especially if the cousin was adopted into the family.

It's not dangerous, except in the court of public opinion. Americans view such close relations having, er, relations very poorly. If you are going to go against what your society says is right, then you're going to have troubles, whether what you are doing is dangerous or not.
If there does end up being a kid, there's not really likely to be major problems, unless your family has a history of a genetic disease. That's the major problem with intermarrying- if the family is a carrier for a disease, more of the kids will end up getting it. If not, and if your family doesn't make this a practise, your kids would be fine. The problems with the royalty of Europe who were all related and interbred was more that they had been doing that for hundreds of years. That, uh, weakening of the stock takes more than one generation to occur.
Really, though, your biggest problem with this relationship would be what people think of you. Different societies view incest in different ways; ancient Egyptian pharaohs regularly married their sisters, but, in the US, people get squeamish with any relation, particularly ones as close as cousins. Hell, even third cousins' relationships are considered bizarre enough for mention. Before you embark on such a relationship, consider hard if you could really deal with the backlash you'll surely face. You may have to choose between your cousin and most of the rest of the world. No matter how wonderful s/he is, can you really face the strange looks and flat-out being cut off by some people?

Wow ... this is a f*cked up question ...
Incest is pretty much taboo, in just about every society. Its generally accepted that blood-related family and sex should just be seperate .... like church and state ....
I don't guess that its neccessarily physically dangerous ... but you need to think about how this will make you feel emotionally, how it will change your relationship with your cousin, and how the rest of your family will react if they were to ever find out.
Personally, I think there's plenty enough @ss out there that's not related to me ... I think I'll keep going that route ...

I've learned in my biology class that recent studies show there is a slim chance of birth defects with a child from your first cousin, and after that there is no problems unless morally, other than that from a scientific point of view you should be ok

In my case, yes. They're all married and one of them is even married to a federal marshal, so I'd have to say it would be very dangerous.

Not if one can accept being a whore, there is nothing wrong with having sex with ones family. The Karmic cost is quite extensive, but if sex is ones guide in life, then reality would not mean much.
