Smith and Lee children. Plural. There are two children yes? Example: The Smith and Lee children were involved in a school play.
OR The Smith and Lee attorneys
Wrong examples: The Smith's and the Lee's children were involved in a school play.
The Smith's and Lee's attorneys
I am totally guessing of course. :)

I would say the second one, BUT since each have one child, one could also say "Smith's child and Lee's child", so you could then say the former by way of an abbreviation, although this statement tends to imply that there is only one child. If in doubt, go with the latter statement.

children bcoz both of them has a child. so its plural.
but if they are hus&wife second one is correct bcoz the child is of both Smith's and Lee's. here both of them has a child but there is only one child!
So, if they are not hus&wife, the second is right otherwise the first.
