It really depends on how well you take care of yourself. It doesn't happen to everyone. There are some beautiful women well up in age that take care of themselves and don't get any plastic surgery done either. The one's that drink lots of water, a little red wine, eat a little dark chocolate, exercise, don't smoke, and take care of their skin and hair look amazing as they age.

Many women get more attractive as they mature. A great example of this is Jaclyn Smith, the actress. She was beautiful when she was on Charlie's Angels, but she is still one incredibly attractive lady. Both men and women are too obsessed with youth and youthful beauty due to the media pushing those images. It is a shame that society doesn't value maturity and that most people get all obsessed with youth, thinness, etc.

Not all women do. My great grandmother was a very plain looking woman all her life, but as she got older she became absolutely beautiful.

Either they had a hard life (drugs,booze,to many partners etc) or they just get in a rut and stop taking care of themselves.
