Yes diet and excecise tried that she has no interest, and is lazy,nice girl but just doesn't care I guess. Help girls what is she thinking.

She has probably just given up....maybe try and EXERCISE WITH HER..and she is going to have to change her diet...if your her mother, just do not bring junk food or soda into the house...if its not accessible it cannot be consumed

Ouch tough call. Some times being harsh and blunt will be the only thing that opens her eyes. I have seen MANY young overweight girls crammed into WAAAY too small clothing and notice that everyone snickers and laughs about them behind their back.
YOU have to take action otherwise she will end up attracting a gross older man's attention and she'll like the feeling since no one normal pays her than attention.
How does she get the money for the clothes? I'm not sure if you are her mother or guardian or not but if she aquires the money through you, cut it off and buy her clothes that fix her. Hell buy her geeky clothes and tell her what every5-10lbs she loses she can pick what SHE wants as an award.
This is a tough age and her personality can go either way depending on how you deal with it.
With the shower thing. Just come right out and tell her she smells disgusting and you won't go out or take her out anywhere until she showers. This could be a phase cause I know many people that hardly EVER showered, then once they grew out of it, they showered regularly....

I even have considered ladies that have been in formal type attire and visit walmart or kroger and sweetness why they get examine. they're in basic terms no longer dressed appropriate for the area LOL. I think you should diet with her.Change your eating habits so she won't feel alone. Also I think the suggestion that she go to a support group for obese teens is a good one. As for the showering tell her she has no choice. Nip this in the bud now to avoid worse problems later on.

She just needs a little motivation. Maybe her self esteem is really low and thats why she doesnt take care of herself. She probably needs a little boost of confidence. try buying her cute clothes in plus sizes so she knows that just because she is overwieght she can still be pretty. once she feels pretty and starts taking care of herself and spends more time getting ready, she will be more likely to try to loose wieght.

try and ask why she doesn't want to exercise. second, don't go all over the internet saying she's a size twenty or lazy because that really is a confidence booster, and have her shop and torrid or charolette russe, fashionable and fitted.

ask her if this is really what she wants to look like when she gets older, what if she finds that special someone and she looks like crap cus there will come a day when someone is gonna be REALLY crazy about her and she has nothing to show for it

You dont Y u BOTHERERD WITH HER ? get a life of your own but if she doesnot shower throw her in a pool with some bleach, air pollution!
