how do i report a threatening email to yahoo?

the man sent me a check to cash and send him money, but i found out the check is counterfeit, but he believes i cashed it. now hes threatening me

First, how did you find it was counterfeit?
At that point, what did you do?
Is the bank involved?
Do you still have the check or did you give it to the bank?
Did you endorse that check?
You are caught in some kind of fraud, it is just not clear where it lies. It is doubtful the guy on the Internet is on the up and up but it is hard to tell with the small amount of info you have given.

Report this to your local police department. Get a report number and then send all information you have on this guy along with a police report number to [e-mail].

It is also possible that you may have been scammed at your finance institution, which I highly doubt, but again, not enough info to determine.

This is a legal issue you should work out with your law enforcement, now.

Why would you cash a check for a stranger???? How do you feel about not responding to the email he sends you?

If he does not have your address or telephone number, he can't find you. Open a new Yahoo E-mail account with a different user-name and he can't e-mail you.

Do you have an email from him in your yahoo now? Report it to police.

I think you report it to yahoo by fwd it to [e-mail]

Then, the next time you get one, mark the little box in front of it and click the "Spam" button. This users email will be blocked from your inbox.

i hear this sort of thing all the time contact me and i will try and help.
was the money to be sent by western union.
are they in nigeria.
type 419 in google then ask me what to do.
i think them questions will be easy to answer for you and yes i will do what i can to help.
