You have to be at least 16 years old to get your driver's license in Florida.

Well, I agree with the last answer - if you have a driver's license you can drive in Florida.

BUT - are you aware that in Florida people drive on the opposite side of the street? In Florida they drive on the right side of the road (the driver sits on the left side of the car.) It can be tricky to drive, I'm sure if you're used to driving in England with the opposite driving lane & driver seat.

Aside from the fact that you'll be on the opposite side of the road & the car, I think you'll find driving in FL to be very easy. The signs are all big & easy to read, most of the roads are flat & straight, and there may be lots of traffic, but it sure does move!
