Someone has offered us a timeshare for a week in Vegas. They said it is the Fairfield. Condos. Just a little way from the strip. Anyone ever been there your info on the place would be great. Thank you.

yes i have , i stayed at the fairfeild grand desert, its very nice with plenty of spacious rooms, it has 2 nice pools, its located on harmon ave, its probably a good 20 -30 minute walk to the strip, depending on where you are going, however the hardrock hotel casino is just a few steps away,
however the timeshare has know bar, no restraunts and no casino. so you better bring with you whatever you will need such as food coffey beer ect

While I haven't stayed at the timeshare, I was reading the answers and a poster stated that it was a 20-30 min walk to the strip. You DO NOT want to walk on Harmon at night. It is a high crime area and unfortunately tourists will become targets. The area isn't bad during the day and at night you are safe driving just don't walk to the strip or back after dark...get a car or take a taxi.

It is very nice, but I prefer to be on or very near the strip. If you book through Fairfield, tour the condos, but ask them to put you up in the Rio or Harrahs!
