I was in Amsterdam this weekend and I heard a bunch of guys yelling "room service!" What does that mean? Is that code for them trying to order a prostitute or something if they see a girl walking down the street that they are into?

BTW- I was close to the red light district, but not on one of the main streets. I don't know if they were yelling at me. AND Jesse- I am aware the city isn't full of prostitutes. I spent the whole weekend enjoying the city. But reality is, it is legal there. If anyone knows the answer tomy question, I am curious.
