Should be from midnight but as banks are run by human beings, you may have to factor in 'computer error' if something goes wrong and your money isn't there. If these people have paid you before then every thing should be fine. If this is the first time you are getting paid by these people then be prepared, sometimes things don't go according to plan. Enjoy your pay!

You'll find that both people are right. In my experience I have found that money is usually credited to your account at midnight, but if that doesn't happen then it will be in your account no later than 9am of payday.

my payday is every 4th friday: the money is in my account ready for withdrawal at approximately 3am on that friday. i'm with hsbc. i have friends with nationwide and halifax etc, and their pay is at different times: some a little earlier, some a little later. i think it depends on the bank! hope that helps?

depends on your bank, the money will generally be sent before close of business on the previous day, to show as cleared funds the next day. your bank may let you have the money at midnight, but some banks wont let you have it until 9am.
