this new toy my daugter is dying to have and she didn't see the name of it. It was this little thing almost like Build-a-Bear except its smaller and you can use it at home. You stuff the bears, then dress them. Do any of you know what the name of it is?

It has its own little stuffing station, like those things you see at build a bear but way smaller.
Oh and Shellbugger thanks those site are similar but not quite I have been looking for the comercial though, and I can check there catoulouge. Let me know if you find anything.

I think I know what you are talking about. I saw a commercial for something that sounds the same as you are describing. The one that saw is called Lil Luvables Fluffy Factory. It is made by Spin master. They sell it at Walmart for $19.97.

target actually sells "mini" versions (about 6-8" tall) of build-a-bear that you can do yourself at home, along with various outfits and accessories.
