I would bring joy to the world.

Through out the day I would broadcast themed music shows. With top notch presenters and magnificent guests I would transcend genre. Classical, rap, punk, metal, blues al presented together in such a way that all would enjoy it.
Then in the late afternoon I would broadcast wonderful animated films - pleasing to adults and children alike.
From 7 till 9 what else but Doctor Who?
And in the evening the best films from around the world. All films from all nations are considered but only the best are chosen.

This channel would be te best in the world because I would always listen to viewer's requests but not show cr*p even if if was popular.
People would learn and grow and enjoy every moment of MONKEYMANTV - The channel for the future!

Anything that doesnt include IRAQ, Afganistan, any non-guinness adverts, politics and other mind numbing, arm-chewing drivel. I am a big fan of just giving the people something they want rather than force feeding them something else. I would definitely put on Lost, simpsons, futurama, scrubs and "mock the week" (frankly anything that takes the piss out of politics and the mindless drivel I hate soooooo much).

US/american entertainment- based shows- that is sitcoms, dramas, comedy sketch shows- eg. saturday night live, quiz shows (no news, reality tv shows or sport though), music videos, cartoons, lifestyle programmes, chatshows, celebrity and entertainment news from tv, film, music, etc, and perhaps the odd film or two and i'd have one advert instead of loads and i'd show them after the programme or film has finished and NOT during it
