Thumbs!?!?!?

when i open a lot of my folders, there is a file called thumbs. the icon is a blue page with gears on it. why is it there and how can i get rid of it without messing up anything.

The thumbs.db file, is created when you select "Thumbnail View". If you delete it, nothing bad will happen, it will just be re-created if you use Thumbnail View.

ur pc is on sharing mode .open ,my computer .right hit hard drve . hit properties hit sharing . tab un-check mark sharing >hit apply ok
