FAFSA is the way to go, if you get any grants through there they do not need to be paid back. You can also go to scholarships.com to see if there are any majors/groups you belong to for scholarships.

There is also the famous Perkins loan, which is a student loan that does not need to be paid back until AFTER you are done with school (whether you graduate or not, if you drop school status you start paying it back)

And finally, if all else fails, you can always join military reserves to get some money for college and experience as well! They have tuition assistance, for 100% tuition (up to a certain amount) and all you have to do is purchase books. Plus, being in the reserves you only drill a few days a month (plus 2 weeks every year)

As far as moving out, go to roommates.com or craigslist.org or even your local paper to find a roomie so your rent isn't so expensive.

Apply to colleges you want to attend and complete a fafsa.

It's online here:
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

Be sure to contact the financial aid office at your university for information and deadlines. They will be ready to help you.

Lack of financial resources shouldn't keep you from reaching your goals. There are many loans, grants, and scholarships that can help!

Good Luck!

go to www.fafsa.gov

They ask A LOT of questions, and be prepared with your tax info from last year, and if you live with your parents, theirs too. It will take a while to fill it out. Jut make sure you apply for a fafsa "pin" number on the same site. You will find the link.

Good luck!!!
