long term drug abuse (smoking dope included) really does mess up your head. It causes untold damage to your body and leads to psychological problems such as increased anxiety and nervousness.
take it or leave it, every one seems to have an opinion, including me.

No I smoked it from the age of 17 and carried on smoking it for the next 12/13 years and found it harder than cigarettes to give up. I had the most awful withdrawl symptons ranging from a god awful headache too being physically sick. So if you think taking any drug is a way of life then it is a sad world we are now living in and addiction is an addiction and is never a good or "normal" thing.... I eventually gave up after several difficult attempts and have now been ciggie and hash free for over 4 years...

From a completely unbiased side of things!
i smoked skunk/pot for about 7 years, going from a week long bender of constant smoking to a day or 2 off to a couple a day, on and off. Now i have a house, a 19 month old son, and a good job. I do have the odd one now, say every month or 2, when ever... it doesn't bother me either way, but i no if i had carried on at that level i probably wouldn't have had 2 out of the 3 of the above! my brother smokes it day in day out, and can not go a week with out it so in affect it controls his life! I have more inportant things to think about in my life than where I'm gonna get a joint if i run out!
The fact of of it is, yes, it is a way of life, not necessarily a good one for every one, some people don't get affected by an addiction, some people lose there minds, but any time your on it you are lazy or not thinking strait, this can be a good thing, stress, taking a step out of life, setting your mind free from the world! thing is some times you need it!

Unfortunately yes, and it has been the ruin of many. Some can handle just the odd one or two, but then you get some that have to smoke it all day every day. This cannot be doing anyone any good. Oh yes, I tried it once, got the munchies, giggles and fell asleep. Certainly not my way of life.

A mate of mine smoked from dawn to dusk and beyond, just dropped dead at 32 years diseased heart brought on by the constant spliffs he smoked, some way of life.

I agree.

I have never known a single incident of unpeacefulness amongst marijuana users.

I reckon it would be a good idea to make its use mandatory for any politician involved in considering war as an option. In fact, if it was mandatory for everyone in a government position, the world would be a far better place.

Yes, absolutely. The more the better. You only have one life, make the most of it. A word of advice: smoke in moderation and do not hurt others.

No I don't think it is a way of life. It is a choice in life just like alcohol and food. We have a choice not to eat that candy bar or drink that drink. Same with weed. We have the choice to take it or leave it.

A way of life? no. Something to do? yes.

As long as I am not driving, taking care of children or operating heavy machinary i don't see why it matters. As long as it does not affect your life why would it matter what I do behind closed doors?

BTW- I do not smoke pot anymore, I have responsibiblites that prevent me from doing so, however i will fight for everyone's right to smoke pot....and hash.

It's another way to relax - the same as having a glass of wine or a large G&T when you come home from work.
