the costume i got him has the pants, belt, shirt, eye patch and head piece and i bought him a sword...any idea what kind of shoes and where i can find a clip on hoop earring...he's six and about to faint for the one earring like them on tv...thanks for any info...

For the clip on earring look at yard sales, thrift stores, salvation army stores, places like that. Raid your mom's or grannie's old costume jewelry boxes.
Look in the same kind of places for the shoes or boots. Something black with a big thick heel. Or most any low boot would probably satisfy him.

Go to a beauty supply store and they should have some and just find him some boots like the pirates wear.
