its because a lot of times, (and i am black), every time we do business with our own people...they are always trying to use race as a way for a break or to swindle in some way... ...i get sick of hearing "come on sis-ta...you know what i mean"...id rather do business with someone who just wants to do business and not try to identify with me just because we are both black... ...this is not always true but, I've experienced it too many times and am sick of getting poor service just because i am suppose to "identify" with the person i am doing business with based on race... ...its like we lack professionalism when dealing with our own....

Did I read correctly that you give special discounts to people of color?

This sounds like illegal discrimination.

Since you seem to operate under illegal business practices, you are the LAST person who should be directing any kind of movement to have minority businesses support each other.

A FAIR buisness practice is for people to be able to CHOOSE what and where to buy, not to SELL only to certain races, or unfairly (and unlawfully) charge a higer price to others.

I fully support the idea that minority business should buy from other minority businesses, when it makes business sense. But pricing, based on race is NASTY, no matter who practices this.

You may remember that Huey used to believe in a policy of supporting all black businesses with the hope of legitimizing an African-American political party that could bring about great change.

So what happened? B.E.T.

You would think that this would be automatic but its not. I used to sell African carvings and art work. If it wasnt for other races I would have never been successful. Black people purchasing my products was extremely rare.

If your knowledge of English Grammar and spelling matches your business knowledge, it is a wonder you have any business at all. It is extremely unprofessional to make grammar and spelling mistakes when communicating.
