When i was younger (2-12 years old) I was abused by my father verbally and a couple times physically and somewhat sexually. Got away form him 2 years ago to live with my mom. I started getting panic attacks at the age of 9 (I'm 15 now.)...About 9 months ago I was in the hospital for a day because I had such a bad one that I seriously thought I was going to die. The panic attack didn't go away for 5 days. Since then [February] I haven't been able to really feel anything...i feel outside of my body, numb in the emotions department, I get claustrophobic, trouble sleeping at night, I get headaches all the time, my vision's all cracked out- depth perception, peripheral vision, and color scheme. I've been to so many doctors and they all found nothing- just told me that I have some serious emotional and mental problems and that I need a very experienced therapist and maybe hypnotherapy to get the things that subconsciously bother me to go away... Everything I see on the internet states that my symptoms are from anxiety. Tried 5 different meds for anxiety and depression, and 1 antiphsychotic. Now I know It was just anxiety getting the worse of me and it still is. It's crazy what the body can do!

Not personally myself but a friend at work has. She got really nauseous and had a hard time breathing. She sought medical treatment and takes a anti-nausea medicine and something else for the anxiety. She was also depressed so she's taking an anti-depressant.

Never really got any help. Have heart palpatations quite often when I get worked up or suddenly startled. Just about knocks me out because I get a sudden rush in my head(feels like it is gonna explode) then really dizzy, have actually fallen over few times.Get warm spell with it most times too. Sure isn't fun!

I began to have a panic/anxiety disorder after I got into my abusive relationship. When he started mentally abusing me my mind would seemingly shut down and I would fall on the floor, foam at the mouth, and have seizure like episodes. I would not know my name and would throw things or do abnormal actions. I saw a psychiatrist who said that it was the result of the guys actions.
