Should you ever mention that you were fired from a previous job during an interview? Should you keep that job on your resume, even if it shows great experience you gained with it

it pays to be honest about things like that, with records the way they are today they are bound to find out.

You should put the job on your resume, but not say why it ended unless you are directly asked. Then the less you say, the better. Something like, "My boss and I had a personaliy issue we couldn't resolve." You might also mention, briefly, what you learned from the experience to avoid similar problems in the future. If you don't know what part you played in the situation, better think about it before the interview. Life is always teaching us something, even out of bad situations.

I think it depends upon how long you had the job. Will not putting it on your resume create a big hole? Are you looking for another job in that industry - and this was the only related experience you got?

Never say why you left unless they ask. I disagree with the "personal difference" answer - you might be a troublemaker. "I couldn't keep up with their hours requirements due to a personal situation at the time," would be a better response.

I would not mention it. I would keep it on your resume but not list anyone there as a reference. If they ask why you left that job you may have to tell them but try to put a positive spin on it if you can.
Most employers do not ask this question anymore. They are more interested in what experience you gained from working there. Always try to be positive during an interview. Good luck!

They will find out anyway probably. They can check with social security and find out what jobs you had in the past. Good luck.

I agree with the previous poster, it's best to leave out that information.
