I am trying to find a makeup that will conceal the fine lines and imperfections on my face with out looking caked on. Also, lots of the makeup I've tried seems to settle in the lines and actually make them MORE noticable and makes my skin look dry. Is there anything out there to help me? Please don't answer just because you are trying to sell Avon or MaryKay. Thanks!!!!!

I have seen the bare minerals makeup on tv and wondered about it. I was worried because it was a powder and it seems that when I use regular face powder it makes my face look dry and more wrinkled, although I use facial moisturizer daily. Is the powder foundation different?

OK, I use the same makeup as my mom and we both love it for her wrinkles and acne scars, and my scars and pimples. I HIGHLY recommend Bare minerals. My WHOLE FAMILY uses it! My aunt, my mom, my grandma, and me!!! It goes on with the brush so well. It covers my moms wrinkles. And I love how my imperfections are completely covered. Don't worry, I'm not a salesman, I'm 13. And being that age I don't want to look like a clown or have my face look caked on with make up. But I highly recommend it. It is 15 bucks for a large jar and mine lasts me for two months. I really hope that you consider this make up because i just love it!!! Good Luck!!!!!!

There are some really great foundations out there...make sure to find one that is light and creamy.....moisturize ...is key for fine lines.
I personally like the foundation stick by Bobbi Brown, I only put it on where I need it...not all over so less of a "foundation" look.

If you live by a Sephora, thats a great place to try different brands...and find the one you like most.

Try a powder rather than liquid. I did my boyfriend's mother's makeup for her other son's wedding. I tried putting makeup on her like I do my own and it looked awful. All the lines on her face seemed magnified. Then, I tried just using a powder base instead and it worked much better.

I mix my foundation half and half with my moisturizer and then apply. Lines all disappear! I don't use powder. On rare occasions I apply powder VERY sparingly with a cotton ball, but yeah, it settles and makes lines look worse. I have tried the powders that say they do not do that but they STILL do that so I rarely wear it.

The best that I have seen is Everyday Minerals, Intensive Formula. This stays put and gives you a flawless coverage. Try Everydayminerals.com. The company provides samples for free.

The bare minerals makeup works really well. I t looks natural. Most makeup brands have the mineral makeup now such as neutragena, loreal, and almay. It works good for dark imperfections too.

loreal makes that true match that works great giving the skin a nice sheen but far from shiny. you have to try a few colors to get it right :( but it looks the best for the money even better that several up scale brands that i've used. orgins also has great colors and different coverage levels and they work nice and are priced great!

I have found that Merl Norman works best and the most evenly. It also covers blemishes very well, but it's about $25.00
