Mohammed,

I love horses, but they are not for everyone. You do have to have a lot of land, time, money and energy to keep a horse. They can be expensive to buy and they are very expensive to feed and properly maintain with vet bills, tack and other supplies. They need plenty of good grazing pasture and where there is one horse there should always be another. Horses are social herd animals and need a companion.

It is really nice to have them around though.

Good Luck and Take Care

Horses are very expensive to have as a pet.
You need to put things into perspective.

1. Where would the horse live? Do you have a barn? If not, you'll have to rent a stall and that could run a couple of hundred dollars a month. Also keep in mind that a horse needs to roam in a pasture and eat grass as well. You need at least an acre per horse.
2. Feed. More money.
3. Horses can be expensive if you buy from breeders. But you can go to your local humane society and adopt one. They'll give you information on rescues.
4. Horses are great animals to have. You can use them just for recreation or you can use them for work.

All in all, they're great animals that deserve a loving home that can provide the right care.

Horses are not for everyone. Right now if you live where it gets cold for winter it is prime time to buy, but remember you have to feed them hay over the winter months, where normally in the spring they can graze in the pasture. This is usually why people sell them before winter, can't afford to feed them. They can be very expensive to keep and maintain. They will need a companion though, another horse, goat, etc. They are a joy to have if you have them for the right reasons, if you ride them or game with them they can be a great past time. Good luck!

frist horses are good pets but they are a lot more than a pet.. they take speacial needs and you have to know a lot about them before you get them i've worked with horses since i was 8 and i've rode and have taken lesson since i was 4 so it is a big deal.. one acre per horse is about right but it depend on the grass percentage if half of the grass is gone than it will not do.. you have to have room for them to work and 1 acre is not a lot.. they are not expesive.. they just take a lot of time and a lot of work.. and what will get you the most is the vet bill.. i've have 2 horses right know i use to have more but i sold some after i trained them..
horses take time lots and lots of time.. they are not like dogs that you just feed and pet...

well first off you dont grow a horse. lol. thats funny. but (if you keep them at your own farm) about $ 300 a month per horse. a horse needs about 3 acres. and horses cant be alone. if you buy one you have to buy another one. take lessons before you buy a horse. you learn about them that way. remember a horse isn't a pet. they need complete care everyday. they can get sick at any time and need a 5,000 dollar sugery to live. if you have the money, the land, the time, the love, and are willing to learn to care for them properly they are nice to ride and care for.

The minimum amount of space for a horse is 1 square acre. Befor you think about owning a horse I'd sudgest start taking lessons at a local stable to get familer with them.

Answered in reverse, Horses are great to have but they are expensive to feed and stable (house). If you want a horse of good blood they are expensive to buy, care for and train. The horse needs a large area to run in for excersise and for mental contentment no matter his lineage.

I have a horse, and it's been the best change in my life since my first puppy! When I'm with him, there's nothing but right there, right then, and all of your problems just sort of...melt away, you know?

It is very very expensive-take it from me, a teenage girl who owns 3 horses, broke all of them, and pays for everything.
I only have 1 english saddle and 1 western. I ride each 3 every day for 45 mins. all horses know english and western, asnd of ocurse bare back. I ride 1 bareback, 1 western, 1 english everyday. And i olternate each every day. So if Tommy was riden bare back yesterday he would be riden english etc. It also depends on what size. And if they get sick, then well it is hell. I wanted 1 horse, adn well eneded up with 3.. all over $100,000!! I know, i am crazy!! lol But ya, it is a lot of work. Get up at 6am, Go to bed at 11pm. you have to go to work/school, mucks stalls, feed, turn out, take in, feed again, grain, feed again, waters(VERY IMPORTANT) and shots, shoes, saddles, bridals, clean tack. Sweep the barn. It is a hell of a lot of work man! But yes, it is worth it. But this is my schedule:
-get up at 6am.
-feed(hay)
-do waters
-get my breckie, get ready for school
-turn horses out
-go to school
-get back
-muck stalls
-take in
-feed(hay)
-ride
-grain
-ride
-feed(hay)
-ride
-homework
-waters
-bath horses, if have time
-groom them
-waters
-dinner
-homework
-bed

and again over and over again.

It is a hell of a lot of work!! And plus on the weekends i manage to work inbetween all that!

OK srry hope that is good but i really really have to go and ride! sorry bye
