dress as pirates of course, have prizes for the best dressed, make em say "yaar," "yo ho ho," and matey a lot, lol, make creepy finger foods that are fun and are eaten with the hands (on individual plates of course lol), have a sand castle cake, have plenty of parrots ;), keep an eye on the booty ;), have a scavanger hunt for buried treasure. party favors: put them in small cardboard, plastic, or wooden chests...fake tattoos, eye patches, chocolate gold coins, fake pearls, silver and gold rings, candy ring pops, plastic sparkly aqaurium jewels, etc...the dollar stores, big lots, etc have super good selections and super cheap prices. games: pin the eye patch on the pirate, play that creepy foods game where the kids are blinfolded and have to guess what's in the bowl...you can use oiled grapes for eyeballs, oiled cooked spaghetti noodles for worms, etc. play lots of flogging molly music, by then you all should be pretty worn out. lol. you didn't say what age the kids are...why don't you google pirate party ideas also?
and oh yeah, PIRATE GIRLS ROCK ;)
