The problem is my other half isn't really into Halloween but has agreed to dress up for me so it can't be to "out there" or I'll lose him!
Okay - someone asked what we looked like. I'm blonde and about 5'3'' - kind of on the tiny side. He is 6'3'' about 260 - not tiny at all!

This depends on your sense of humor, and wouldn't be appropriate in all venues, but I found it really hilarious (in a "that's just wrong" kinda way). I was at a Halloween party last year where this guy had dressed up to basically look like a bum with wild hair, and his girlfriend (like you, she was also a very tiny blonde) dressed up like a schoolgirl. Every so often during the party they'd just start making out, obviously hamming it up. When someone asked who they were supposed to be, they said, "Elizabeth Smart and her kidnapper." That got one of the biggest laughs I've ever seen!

okay, me and my other are going to be jack and sally from the nightmare before christmas. we are making our costumes but you can buy them from spencer's or hot topic. also, costume shops have a world of costumes. you could also be beauty and the beast (hoepfully he won't be too offended). I kind of like the inmate and guard idea. except make you the guard and get him and orange jump suit from a military surplus store of something of the sorts. and you can be the sexy little guard! that would be neato. also you could be the joker and harley quinn, batman and cat woman. if he liked x men, choose one of those couples (i.e. wolveren and dr jean grey-- good thing about this one is wolveren does not have to dress up that much).

I think Fred and Wilma Flintstone would be cute. Others: football player/cheerleader, devil/angel, police officer/prisoner, greaser/50's girl. Hope that helps!
