you mean like a decoy? well if you don't trust him then it could be a good idea, but try your own detective work first then if you don't succeed and still feel like he's cheating, then you could try the decoy, but IF you do know that if he is cheating, this will hurt you and may end up in divorce, go with your gut instincts, and ask him face to face, his body language will say it all

If you have to resort to those tactics it's not worth it. I wouldn't spend the money or invest the energy in a relationship with someone I can't trust - - in my opinion people spend far too much money and energy on things that aren't worth it.

It sounds like she's trying to get him to cheat her so she can divorce him and take all of his money. So no I would not hire someone to have a affair with my future husbend. It's unethical.

I would go for it but remind your friend the rules of dating
cheat on me once, shame on you
cheat on me twice, shame on me~ If she gave him a second chance and he screwed up again, don't let it happen a third time. and perhaps they really shouldn't be together if she thinks she can't trust him.

It could all go very wrong and she will not like the outcome either way, if she wants honesty from him she should do the same.

No, I wouldn't stoop to that degrading level, that's entrapment. I can't quite understand why your friend is still with someone who cheated on her, is she desperate ?
