When things collapse around me and I start to feel like a victim, I think of the things in nature that have weathered the storms in life. Like a mighty Oak when it turns down it's leaves waiting for winter to arrive not knowing if it will be consumed but keeping the hope of an early spring. Remember that all the feelings and emotions you have nurtured are similar to the leaves of the great oak tree and that as they start to dwindle it's in preparing itself for that cold winter. Then it seems out of nowhere spring arrives with warmth and nourishment and you can feel your leaves returning and yourself getting stronger for another endless summer.

It's never easy when everything collapses on you (and I'm talking figuratively) You need to keep your head first of all. not easy to do. But speaking as a person who had this happen... I collected all the inner strength I had (which I never knew I had) but relied on my personal strengths. I moved on with the belief that it was just my destiny to move foward in a different direction from which I was previously on. It DID all work out. I don't know what your personal challenge is right now (ASSUMING YOU'RE DEALING WITH SOMETHING VERY LIFE CHANGING) but all I can tell you is, you have it inside you to do what is right for you. Follow your insticts and your sense of what is right. If you have a religious faith, use that for strength. If not... believe in the higher ground as your path.

I usually allow myself some wallow time, cry it all out then take inventory. That's when I realize that I just need to learn from my mistakes and try to make better choices down the line. Fortunately and unfortunately life is full of lessons to be learned. Each time I think Ive learned I get something new to learn. Its life.

Listen, things get crappy at times. You just have to sit back, surround yourself with friends and family you care about. Take it one day at a time, one problem at a time, and things will eventually untangle, cause lets face it, things didn't get screwed up overnight, they aren't gonna disappear overnight either. It's life, just keep movin, no one gets out alive.

If you believe in God then leave everything up to God he will guide you to the right way. If you don't believe in God then take some time to think things over, and do things one step at a time.
