Only ignorance would make a person say something like that. Women have many burdens to bear - childbirth is only one of them.

Dear All The question has two ans as firstly this is due to women's nature having ability for pregnancy n' as she doesn't enjoy that 9 months experience how she will know the enjoyment of a mother with pain and all of other thinks.

And the other fact is some side away as in the world or say in the universe only women is the way to birth the child think if there is no woman how will u on this beautiful earth...? !!Only because of our lovely and care taker mom means women. So who says that "a woman without a child is not a real woman" If she had no her own child she may take care of our universe with the help of her thoughts about a child....

That is the most ridiculous thing I have heard. I had my first child at age 16, and my last at age 29 and I don't feel any more of a woman than my childless 30 year old best friend of 18 years is! In fact, I often look up to her! Birthing a child makes you a mother, not a woman. Adopting a child also makes you just as much of a mother. Not having any children is a choice, and the person making the choice has every right and is still just as much of a WOMAN! :-)

I don't think that is true, I mean a women that has a child is blessed with the best thing that could happen but their are some women out there that might not be the right person that needs or wants a child which is perfectly normal you shouldn't have a child if you don't want one but women without children are just as much the same as women with children.

Wow! Why would someone say something like that to another woman? Especially a friend of yours? That is so wrong. A woman is a woman is a woman. If you are born a woman you are a woman and nothing can change that. (well except plastic surgery as we all know) but inside you are still a woman. If all women were to bear children it would be that way. But it isn't and that what gives us the diversity and good babysitters :) Women with kids usually don't want to babysit another woman's bad kids LOL. At least in my experience

I've never heard such a thing said. And to believe a woman should have a child by 25 is a little old fashioned.

It sounds like you're talking to someone who is very out dated and narrow minded.

The making of a "real" woman is not if she's married or has children. I think if you're born a woman, that's about as real as you can get.

If a women does not have a child that does not mean the she is less of a women. Some women prefer to wait until they are ready to have children and some women can't have children because of medical issues.

I have 3 children and I am pregnant with my 4th child and I am happy about that however, I have a cousin who is 36 years old and she still does not have any children not because she does not want any, she just can't find a good man. I do not see her less of a women because of that... She is very succesful doctor...

Don't worry about what ignorant people have to say because who the hell or them. Good Luck!!!

What a load of bull. Having a child, which is a blessed thing, makes you a mother. You are still a woman no matter what.
This is similar to a question I have: why is it that some people think that you can't be an effective elementary school teacher if you don't have children?

People say that because they believe that a women was put on this Earth to bear children only. So if you have not bore children then you are wasting space. It is a load of crap that old homemakers have made up to make themselves feel like a contributing memeber of society. Why people cant just be concerned with their own life is the real question.

From a biological standpoint, anyone who fails to procreate is a failure. Our ultimate purpose is to pass on our genetic material, so this really applies to both men and women.

Also, unlike men, women only have 30 or so years when they can produce children. Less if you consider that the chance of problems increase as women get older.

However, I really think this comes from women who are just fanatical about having children, and that somehow their identity as women is defined by their ability to bear children. I know from experience that having children is a very important and emotional experience, but I don't this anyone should judge you if you choose to wait or not to have children at all.

a women is still a women, mabey just less experienced with the things a women can do. A great part of a women is the fact that they can bear children. But I think that this is just a extra.
