In case you didn't mean to ask about "meterology" there's also something called "metrology"

"The science that deals with measurement."

Or

"The science of weights and measures. Metrology is an important part of semiconductor manufacturing where high-resolution tools are required to measure the tiny elements in a chip that continue to decrease year after year."
http://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia_term/0,2542,t=metrology&i=46874,00.asp

"Our first topic is: Why Metrology? The answer is that metrology is there to ensure that measurements work. Measurement is part of the real world. It is performed with manmade instruments primarily by humans. It is not perfect and shares the limitations of other human activities.

"The bulk of the application of metrology is to quantify and reduce the effect of this imperfection and finding new measurement methods that can reliably match the development of technology."

~Metrology is the study of urban (metro) mythology (logy)
If you mean meteorology, that is the study of atmospheric phenomena, particulary as it relates to weather. At least learn to spell before you ask someone to do you homework for you.
Here's a thought: ever heard of a dictionary? Much faster and more reliable for those not too lazy to pick on up or to log on to one. Given your industriousness and language acumen, you should go far in life.

How do you expect to graduate when you can't even spell the word, let along understand its meaning.

It is spelled meteorology, and it is the science of weathermen/women, guessing as to what tomorrows weather will be like.

Today's education system is apparently going to hell on a fast train.
