I am a grad student of UNL (www.che.unl.edu). My own ip address is : 129.93. 243.28.
I have two yahoo account where I get emails. I have found out that there are 2-3 people from my university, accessing my mail box and reading my confidential emails. I dont like that. I want to take it to police as this is destroying my privacy.I want to know if there is anyway, you guys can retrieve the information about the IPs, from where, there was/were logins into my account. How can report a crime of hacking my account to police? What other information I have to give?

you would need to contact yahoo first to get the log files, but u should get a new password right away, since there is no way really to track the access on the other pcs unless u look at all the internet history.

You should change your password (of course) and contact the police. They will tell you what information you need. I'm not sure if Yahoo becomes involved, as to log-ins to your account, but you can contact them and see what happens.

First of all , change your password with a long non redundant one, then you can tell the police, usually they can track the ip

doubtful the police can do anything, but I would contact the uni about the ppl hacking into your accts.
and of course, change ur password now, and daily if need be.
