From what I have seen of him he is an intelligent person and seems to have a good grasp of current issues. He may be a good canidate to run in 'O8.
On Meet the Press yesterday someone made the statement that if Obama did decide to run, that Hillary Clinton would not. That might turn out to be a good thing for Democrats.

Obama is in his 2nd year as a Senator in Illinois. He has a wonderful personality etc. etc. etc. but he doesn't really stand for anything. He rides the fence and talks in circles in order to please everybody and does it very well. You walk away feeling great about his response till you find out he never really answered the question. Personally......he needs more time in order to prove he's more than a dynamic speaker. Also......I question any politician from Illinois. Seems their souls are up to the highest bidder.

I would vote for him. However, if he's smart, he would cozy up to Hillary and go for VP. Whoever takes on Hillary is going to get crushed and humiliated by her money-corporate Juggernaut.
