I would begin with a book titled the Mystical Qabbalah by Dion Fortune. If you are serious about this, it has levels of understanding and wisdom regarding the Tarot as a Metaphysical Science and means of achieving enlightenment. Once you 'speak the word of power, be prepared to ride the ensuing whirlwind...' It is most often dealt with by charlatans, so be real with it....I have a great deal of experience, good and bad, with it. It is not to be taken lightly or for fun and games. It is a true art, and a spiritual endeavor.
And, contrary to popular belief, it is NOT THE DEVIL'S WORKSHOP.
And...I like your avatar...the lotus..The 1000 petal lotus flower of unfolding enlightenment..I have one tattooed on my 1st chakra.

read the little book that comes with them and stuff thay are very easy to read and stuff. my mom taught me how to read them when i was 8 years old. and i did not like it and dont agree with them. thay are not right and thay are the work of the devil and can cause weired things to happen and stuff i have seen some odd stuff to happen
