Mine is Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night." And yes, I did see it up close at MoMA - it's breathtakingly beautiful.

There is a self portait of van Gogh that I love. I saw it at the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. My favorite right now that I have seen personally would have to be The Night Watch by Rembrandt which is at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

I like the painting from a American artist (forgot his name) "Mother Goose" ( I am not even sure if it is the correct title). Anyhow the American artist painted his mother. I never saw it in real but on the TV it was cool. And the Painting ( I am soooooo bad with names) someone maid: a woman laying on a bed and looking at herself in a mirror ( an angel is holding that mirror). WE can only see her back and her face in that mirror.

my favorite piece of art of al time is The Scream by Edvard Munch. Its the most thought provoking, interesting artwork i've seen. I haven't got to see it up close yet but i'd love too. My husband's favorite is Starry Night by Van Gogh

Picasso's Portrait of Dora Maar. I saw it up close at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. A cool painting, but even cooler because Picasso actually painted it over another artist's work!!

Though I have many, many favorites I was highly impressed by "Starry Night" which I'd seen at the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam (Holland).

The Doni Tondo by Michelangelo in the Uffizi, Florence. When I stood in front of it, I knees went weak and I almost fell down.

"Pic Island"
Lawren Stewart Harris 1885 - 1970
Canadian Group of Seven artist.
The feeling I get when I gaze into the picture is indescribable. First saw it when I was in grade six, and loved it ever since.
