You dont need to give up sports, everyone should excersise but maybe you are over doing it a little bit! You should cut down excersisng! You obviously need to tell your friends that maybe you are a bit of a fitness freak! I mean its gd that your intrested in sport but to be THAT skinny its not right and it isnt doing your body any favours!!! Or maybe you should tell the doctor! Just beacuse you eat alot doesnt mean you arent anerxic, it also means where you try and lose body weight really quickly!

It's hard to say without knowing your height. Do you know what your BMI is? I've never heard of an adult weighing 5 1/2 stone before (don't know how old u r) but that does sound scary. If you're healthy, then it doesn't matter. You'll probably gain a little weight as you get older. Oh, to have such a problem! :)

If they already see you eat and know you well, and they still think you're anorexic, you probably can't do anything to convince them. I would guess that you probably have a hard time gaining weight even if you try, right?

Just keep telling them thank you for loving you and being concerned about your health, but that you and your doctor think your weight is just fine.

It could also be that your friends feel uncomfortable about their own weight, especially if they're much bigger than you. You may want to reassure them that you love them just the way they are.

I was the same way when I was a teenager...people made fun of me all the time, my teachers would call my parents and say they were concerned, etc... If you are eating in front of your friends, then they should actually be convincing YOU that they are not stupid...if you were in fact anorexic, you wouldn't eat at all! They are just jealous....but be careful...eating all that junk food can catch up to you when you get older!!

I would say thanks for your concern but I have told you all time and time again that I am not anorexic and if you all love me and trust me then you will believe me when I say I am not. Give it up because I love you all but I am sick of hearing you go on about it. If did have a problem then I would come to you for help I promise, however I don't have any right now but thanks for caring.

I Guess being hard is the only way to get through to them. Tough love GIVE it to them straight. If they are your true friends they will back off and respect your wishers.

If your friends don't believe you how good a friend can they be. Being heallthy is great but don't go to the extreme, try and figure out what amount ofcalories you use after each of your sports and check on the internet to see how many calories you should consume to be able to stay 'HEALTHY'

As long as you are eating healthily and maintaing your active life then you are no way in an anorexic state so don't worry about what your friends think just take it with a pinch of salt

From those statistics, you have fallen off the bottom of the 'healthy Body Mass Index' curve. I dont doubt your food intake, but I suggest you see your doctor and find out if there is some other reason (thyroid?) which you can (a) do something about and (b) tell your stuffy friends.

Ain't it great to have that metabolism? I have one like that too & people are always calling me too skinny. I was very active like you, too. I'm now 56 yrs. old & maintaining a trim body. But boy does your body change as you age! Havin' a problem with the spare tire these days! PS Men still turn their heads....yay!
