You have asked this question because you have personified the concept of god and satan. The terms or personification of god and satan are used to convey an abstract message. There is light, and absence of light is darkness. Darkness does not exist, only light is absent. Satan does not exist, only god is absent. We humans have tendencies to act different from the accepted norms of the society, religion and culture, and we find a secret pleasure in doing so. And we blame satan (which does not exist at all) for tempting us to do such things. The measuring scale at end of your life is 'have you kept your conscience clear until you die?' If yes, your spirit will enjoy eternal happiness; if not, your spirit will enter a state of eternal unhappiness - you want to call that heaven and hell?.. all right, go ahead! But there is no one to punish or reward you. It is like a plant that grows and bears fruit. If it gets all the nourishing environment and grows well, it bears good fruit. Whereas if the plant is deprived of nourishment, it bears little or bad quality fruits. The farmer is not going to bless the good plant by giving plenty of fruits, nor is he going to punish the bad plant with no fruits. Your state of existence after your life here depends on the quality of life that you live here.

God has a forgiving nature! It wasn't his fault that Satan screwed up! SATAN was the one who wanted to be above God, and as a result, got demoted to Hell. So I guess the true question should be, if Satan swallowed his pride and apologized to God, would there be no Hell? But we know that is not going to happen- read the book of Revelation in the Bible. In the end, Satan loses and is bound into the pits of Hell for all eternity, along with all the souls who rejected the saving knowledge of Christ.

Satan is a fiction. There are dark entities more in this physical world than any other which is why only the bravest will incarnate here according to Sylvia Brown. Dark entities are less bright than white entities (totally nothing to do with skin color) because they CHOOSE separation from God. They will be eventually brought home if they don't choose on their own to go back before the end of time. But they came from the same Devinne sparkler that you and I did and they will go back eventually like it or not. FEAR is their biggest ally. Find a spiritual path for yourself that takes your fears away and helps you feel peace. That will be your true path. Only you can decide what resonates with your soul and chosen perspective in this life. God be with you and connect to source.

Contrary to what other users say, the evil one, best known as Satan does exist. Look all around and there Will be manifestations of the evil one. Well I just wanted to clarify that.

To answer your question, the Bible tells us that before Satan became Satan, he was the most beautiful of all angels; he was so beautiful that he fell in love with himself. He thought that he was so beautiful that he did not needed God. By doing so he rejected God's plan, and by doing so he also rejected any future plans God had for his creation, including redemption. Because Satan was an angel, and angels owe perpetual obedience to God, once they disobey that's it; no more going back; no making up your mind. See, angels don't have free will like us, therefore, it is expected of them to perform their duties. Unlike us, we get the benefit of redemption up to the last moment of our life.

It is up to a person to go to hell (away from the presence of God) by choosing or not choosing to follow his commandments, specially loving Him above all things, and loving one another.

Hope this helps!

No, Satans sin is the sin of pride, before he can be forgiven he has to recognize, admit and repent (do a 180 degree turn, to turn away from sin) of his sin to God. This is the position of all mankind, to turn to God or turn away from God and rely on yourself. The bible in its simplest form is the story of how:
1) God created man.
2) Man turned away from God.
3) God won't give up on man, and wants man to turn back
to Him.
4) Allowing man to have a personal relationship with God,
a relationship between the Creator of life and His creation,
mankind.

God chose not to offer savation to satan and his buddies. But aside from satan we are still guity before God and would have to answer for our sins. Hell will be for the ones who reject Christ's offer of savation regardless of satan.
Choose life.
Romans 6:23
The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.

i'm sure God would choose someone new to replace satan...i can think of a few names lol
i wondered that before...if we implored satan to beg Gods forgiveness, knowing he is doomed otherwise..would satan do it? somehow i doubt it - would God forgive him if he did ask? I think so
would it be wrong of us to try talking to satan in the sole interest of heavenly peace? absolutely because he is a bad spirit and would probably just use the opportunity to snare us.
Good Question!

Whos to say God PUNISHED satan.
I know what the Bible says, but it is just the word of another MAN.
it's pure speculation, maybe God and ther devil are just at a friendly compotition. Ever seen Bedazzled?
Touches on a good thought.
We don't KNOW what else is out there, we are just going off of what some one wrote in a book a milenia ago, and we "trust" they are telling us the truth.

No because we ourselfs create our own hell we live with , just by some of the things we do ! Hell is created by those things and people we are around ! There will be no perfect place except heave that our creator has created for us , if we are allowed to get there throew our own workings !

God will forgive Satan, if Satan asks for forgiveness. To ask for forgiveness, one must confess the sins they have committed.(which means to agree that they are indeed sins). Satan hasn't so far agreed that what he does is sin, but I imagine that God wil forgive when that day comes.
