You forgot some of the most important and influential bass players ever.

Someone Jacko Pastorius, he's one of the best bass players, he gets an absolutely amazing sound. his band is Heavy Weather, they're kind of Jazz

Then you forgot John Paul-Jones, of Led Zeppelin, a great bass player and one of the most famous AND influential

Then there's Roger Glover of Deep Purple, he's one of the most underrated bass players of all time, he's absolutely amazing, without him Deep Purple wouldn't ahve done as well and wouldn't have been as influential on the Hard rock/ Metal scene.
Without him lots of metal wouldn't be the same
