The only way to explain thing comes from our minds(thought and reason)and not from the outside neither faith.

My understanding of Peter's "Yes and No" is that he wants to leave all non divinely inspired works open for questioning and debate. The church had this book on its banned list for a long time, because it opened the door to questioning a lot of thing that had passed into dogma, including the writings of Saint Augustine. In our universities, we should use it to remind ourselves to let nothing become dogmatic, not the writings of those on the overly politically correct left, nor the blathering of the Rambos of the right. Nothing, not even material from Nobel laureate emeritus professors should be treated as sacred text.
